Fig & Function (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a Shopify agency based in Ireland. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our website or get in touch, how we use it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988–2018.

What we collect
When you book a call, fill in a form or email us, we collect the details you give us, such as your name, email address, brand name, store URL, budget and a description of your project.
When you browse the site, we may collect basic technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how long you spend on them. Non-essential analytics are only used with your consent, as explained in our Cookie Policy.
How we use it and why
We use your information to reply to enquiries and arrange calls (steps you ask us to take before entering a contract), to deliver work for clients (performance of a contract), to run, secure and improve the website (our legitimate interests), and to send occasional updates about our services where you have opted in (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with trusted providers that help us run the business, such as our website host, form and scheduling tools, and email and analytics services. When you become a client, this can also include Shopify and the app partners involved in your project. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact. Client records are kept for as long as needed to deliver our services and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, which is generally six years under Irish law. After that, we securely delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@figandfunction.com. We will respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no online system is completely risk-free.
